All four varieties of San-J Tamari Soy Sauce are now certified gluten free. Made from 100% soybeans, San-J Tamari is the perfect addition for the home chef looking for gluten-free seasonings. Unlike regular soy sauces, which contain about 50% wheat, San-J’s Tamari brewing process uses only soybeans and no wheat, making them the perfect fit for a gluten-free diet.

Tamari is considered a premium Japanese soy sauce. The unique, small batch natural brewing process takes up to six months for San-J Tamari to go from bean to bottle. The higher concentration of soy protein results in a richer, smoother and more complex flavor than that of ordinary soy sauces. San-J Tamari is great for stir-fry, as a marinade or dipping sauce. It is the perfect flavor enhancer that can even be used as a substitute for salt, without compromise in taste.

All San-J gluten free products are certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, which meets the strictest standards. San-J follows specific sanitation methods to prevent cross contamination of wheat in its gluten-free products. Each batch is tested for the presence of gluten and reliability is also confirmed by an independent testing agency.

All San-J Tamari is made in the U.S.A., from non-genetically modified soybeans and is Non-GMO Project verified. They are certified kosher and no MSG or artificial preservatives are added.

    Your products are unique & tastey! I’M esp. grateful that you so diligent in your proccessing of your wonderful soy sauce &entire line. I’VE no worrys ,about that awful wheat, in my favorite soy sauce!!!!!!!!

    Now that I am eating gluten-free, it’s depressing how many of my favorite foods I have to do without. I’m so glad I can still make Asian-inspired food and have it taste exactly the same as before. I don’t know how I could live without!
