Thai Ginger Meatballs with Peanut Dipping Sauce


  • 1 1/2 pounds ground free range turkey breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp. freshly grated ginger
  • 3/4 cup San-J Reduced Sodium Tamari Soy Sauce, divided
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup San-J Thai Peanut Sauce
  • Garnish: Cilantro sprigs


  1. Preheat oven to 375º F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey breast, ginger, 1/2 cup soy sauce, panko, and egg.
  3. Shape mixture into walnut size balls and place on baking sheet that has been prepared with no-stick cooking spray.
  4. Bake 30-35 minutes or until thermometer inserted into center of meatball registers 170° F.
  5. Remove from oven and prepare sauce.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine Thai peanut sauce and remaining soy sauce.
  7. Cook, over medium high, whisking frequently, until mixture is smooth and heated.
  8. Arrange meatballs on serving platter and drizzle about 1/4 cup sauce over meatballs.
  9. Garnish with cilantro sprigs and serve remaining sauce on side.
