Coffee Cola Cooler

howtomaketheperfecticedcoffeeIced coffee should be made with freshly brewed extra strength coffee (2 standard tablespoons to 4 oz. water) and poured over ice cubes. The extra strength coffee is important so that the melting ice doesn’t dilute the brew. Or brew a pot of regular strength coffee and freeze it in the ice cube tray. Fill the glasses with the coffee cubes and pour regular strength coffee over them. When coffee is left to stand and cool down slowly, its aromatics are lost and it becomes flat and bitter.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chilled extra strength Equal Exchange coffee
  • 2 cups coffee ice cream
  • 2 cups cola

Directions:

  1. Fill 4 glasses with 1/2 cup coffee. Scoop 1/2 cup ice cream into each glass.
  2. Top with 1/2 cup cola.
