Chilled Chocolate Yogurt Strawberries

Recipe submitted by Chloe C. of WA for the Mambolicious Recipe Contest 2009.


  • 1 package (3-oz.) regular cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound (about 5 cups) sifted confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Brown Cow Plain Yogurt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup melted Equal Exchange Chocolate Bar
  • 2 cups fresh whole strawberries
  1. Combine cream cheese, confectioner’s sugar, yogurt, and vanilla in the top of a double boiler.
  2. Place over boiling water and blend until lukewarm and smooth.
  3. Add the melted chocolate and continue stirring until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  4. Quickly dip each strawberry into the mixture and place on a wax paper-lined baking sheets.
  5. If mixture becomes too thick to handle easily, replace over hot water and stir until desired consistency.
  6. Let stand until set. Then chill.

Cook Time: 10 minutes
