Marinated Grilled Prawns



  • 1 lb. large prawns (size 16/20 or larger), shells on
  • 1/2 cup of Consorzio Baja® lime marinade
  • 2 Tbsp. red onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
  • 4 bamboo skewers soaked, or metal skewers


  1. Remove vein from Prawns.
  2. Put Prawns in a shallow non-aluminum baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl combine Consorzio Baja Lime Marinade, onion, garlic, cilantro.
  4. Pour over Prawns.
  5. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Preheat grill or broiler.
  7. When ready to cook, thread prawns on skewers and grill or broil, turning once, until done, 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Can be served arm or at room temperature.
  9. Goes great with orzo and fresh sauteed veggies.
