Pasta Di Mare


  • 6 oz. dry pasta linguine
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 3/4 oz. fillet of anchovies, cut into pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
  • 1 can (4 1/4 oz) Bela-Olhao® Sardines in Tomato Sauce (or you can substitute with your favorite variety)
  • 3/4 cup clam juice
  • 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onions
  • 2 oz. chardonnay wine


  1. Cook pasta linguine until al dente according to package.
  2. In a sauce pan, saute on low heat Bela-Olhao® Sardines, garlic, anchovies and onions in EVOO until the onions become wilted.
  3. Add 2 oz. chardonnay wine. Stir and simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato paste and clam juice and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
  5. In a serving bowl, gently toss the al dente pasta and finished Di Mare sauce.
  6. ENJOY!
