Sweet & Tangy Crab Saute

sweetandtangycrabsauteIngredients:

  • 2 tsp.of lemon juice
  • 16 oz. pre-cooked crabmeat or imitation crabmeat
  • 1 Tbsp. canola oil
  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup baby carrots, sliced around ¼ inch thick
  • 1/2 cup Vidalia onions, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. San-J Sweet & Tangy Sauce

Directions:

  1. Add lemon juice to crabmeat; mix to coat.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet (non-stick works best) over medium flame.
  3. Add tomatoes, carrots, onions to skillet & saute, stirring occasionally, until onions caramelize.
  4. Add crabmeat, garlic powder and ginger; saute 7 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Add balsamic vinegar and mix well; continue to saute for another 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  6. Add San-J Sweet & Tangy Sauce, mix well and then remove from heat and serve.

Servings: 4

Serving suggestion: over salad of mixed baby greens or brown rice.
