Gyro Burgers


  • 4 frozen Boca® Meatless Original Burgers
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 medium unpeeled cucumber, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 4 foldable pita breads
  • 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce


  1. Grill burgers as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, place sour cream, cucumber and garlic in blender or food processor container; cover.
  3. Blend 10 to 30 seconds or until almost smooth.
  4. Cover pita breads evenly with tomatoes and lettuce; drizzle with sour cream sauce.
  5. Top each with 1 burger, cut in half.

Servings: 4 sandwiches

Special Extra: Top each sandwich with additional chopped cucumber.

Great Substitute: Substitute plain skim yogurt, plain low fat yogurt or reduced fat sour cream for all or part of the fafree sour cream.
