Cold Spicy Sesame Noodles


  • 8 oz. soba or udon noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced julienne, steamed for 2 minutes
  • 3 scallions, sliced diagonally


  • 1/4 cup sesame tahini
  • 1/2 cup Honest Tea® Assam Black Tea
  • 3 Tbsp. tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. brown rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. umeboshi (plum) vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced


  1. In a large bowl, place cooked noodles, carrots and scallions.
  2. In a small bowl, combine tamari, tea, cayenne pepper, sesame oil, maple syrup, vinegars and garlic.
  3. Pour dressing over noodle mixture, toss to coat evenly.
