Garlic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts

  • 1/2 lb. Brussels Sprouts, cut in half
  • Minced or crushed garlic, to taste
  • Olive oil or melted butter, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)


  1. Place oven rack in upper third of oven and preheat to 450° F.
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts lightly with olive oil or melted butter, garlic, salt, and pepper, or red pepper flakes.
  3. Spread 1 to 2 layers on a large baking pan. Roast, stirring occasionally, until tender and browned (approximately 25 to 35 minutes).
  4. Enjoy!
