Thai Peanut Bars

Thai Peanut BarsIngredients:

3/4 cup Sugar

1 tsp. Baking soda

2/3 cup Roasted peanuts, chopped

1 2/3 cup Flour

1 Whole egg

1 Egg – divided

2 Tbsp. Molasses

2 Tbsp. Water

3/4 cup San-J Thai Peanut Sauce

1/3 cup Peanut Butter – smooth

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, baking soda, peanuts and flour until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together whole egg, egg yolk, molasses, water and San-J Thai Peanut Sauce. Stir in peanut butter. Combine all ingredients into one bowl and mix well. Roll into a log and flatten.
  3. Place on lightly greased baking pan. Slightly mix together egg white and 1 tsp. of water. Brush on top of roll. Bake at 350° until brown. Cut while still warm.
